The Sheepdogs

The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock band from Saskatoon who formed in 2006. The band has released 2 albums and describe their sound as pure simple good time music.

The Sheepdogs bring a bluesy 70’s style to their music and not just the way the they dress. No matter what song you listen to you’re sure to feel like you’re being transported back to the 70’s psychedelic disco era. The band combines electronic keyboard alongside bluesy guitar and easy listening drum beats to come together to create this harmony of sound. The band can be described as being along the lines of bands like Fleetwoodmac but with more of a guitar driven sound.

Ewan Currie brings powerhouse vocals that alongside their guitar heavy rifts and flowing keyboard sounds makes for a powerhouse sound that deserves to be listened to with the volume turned up.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing The Sheepdogs live and they surely do not disappoint and put one incredible show. Being at a Sheepdogs concert delivers powerhouse vocals that sound the same as they do on the cd and all around stag presence that gets the entire crowd dancing and having a great time.

From their album Future ¬†Nostalgia here’s The Sheepdogs with Help Us All
